It is terribly sad for me to say this, and I realize how terribly horrible this statement is, but I’ve come to the realization that the CTU, and most government officials, care first and foremost about serving themselves. IF some good comes from their work, they will be happy, but they are more than willing to sell anyone down the river in order to enrich themselves and gain and keep power.
