“What, me worry” says Alfred E Neuman Johnson. Besides, this is exactly what Mayor BJ campaigned on, a smaller police force. Guess that those who voted for him should be satisfied with this and the mostly peaceful protests and likely chaos to follow later this summer.

The National Guard will be on high alert. Pritzker has no intention of being embarrassed.

No way will the IL National Guard be involved. This convention is JB’s 2028 Presidential Campaign Coronation and he will do nothing to spoil his party. He is counting on the National Pravda media to conceal the “fiery but mostly peaceful” mayhem surrounding United Center. Half of Chicago could burn to the ground and the Pravda media will suffocate all coverage; JB is counting on their corruption and collusion.

The City government does not stand behind them, Criminals have NO fear of murdering them, the media crucifies them and second guesses every split-second decision the officer makes and then charges them with crimes when they think they made some sort of mistake. After the convention the CPD will be down hundreds more officers after the police hating COPA who will investigate hundreds, perhaps thousands of complaints by professional terroists, will be sustained and officers will be suspend or fired. The August party held by democrats to pick a candidate will be a crap show of epic proportions reflecting the epic crap show that is happening in Illinois and across the nation because of democrats.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
