City council approves ban on late-night liquor licenses in Chicago’s sprawling First Ward – WBBM (Chicago)

This follows years of complaints about violence, noise and mischief. Seven wards, downtown, on the North Side and South Side now have bans on new late-night liquor licenses.

Thus increasing the value of existing 4AM licenses.
