Yes, as other commenters have noted, the decision to give driver’s licenses to non-citizens is yet another awful decision by the State of IL that will adversely affect its citizenry. Based on my age, if I stick around in IL, I guess I won’t see the day when IL pols make decisions that consider the benefit to its citizenry as a primary criterion.

Good God. How stupid. Another way to get these people voting cards. Insurance rates in Illinois are already so friggin high it is ridiculous. Just wait till they have all of these third world bums with drivers licenses, getting cars and driving without insurance, because in their country, they don’t need it…no jail time, no fines, just higher fees for us. This has to stop.

Ya know, at every turn the Democrats do things to make our lives more difficult and more costly. Why the hell does anyone vote for them? Boggles the mind.

Watch the insurance rates go higher – they have to. Thanks Pritzker and Democrats for once again making citizen taxpayers lives even harder!

All driver’s licenses should clearly state “non citizen “ so illegals cannot is as an ID to obtain a voter’s card. Is that the purpose to allow illegals to vote?

Remember everyone the legal drivers in Illinois are paying higher rates because of this, don’t believe otherwise.

Liberty Mutual told me as much when I questioned the increase in my liability insurance on a seldom driven car with an accident free record. “It’s because you live in IL.” the nice lady on the phone explained.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
