Ideally all voting should be in person on Election Day (emphasis on “ideally”) or limited to no more than 1, maybe 2, weeks of early voting. 6 weeks is waaay too long IMO. That said, I would take advantage of early voting because waiting until Election Day takes the chance of something going wrong (like the machines being “down”, or something that prevents you from physically making it to the polls) with no chance of coming back and trying again later.
Is it safe to say every Illinois public sector union has made sure 100% of their members are signed up for mail in voting?…I think so
