Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. He really likes children. Anyone remember when he ran for governor and had the creepy add of him hanging out with children in the park playground.
I sincerely doubt he likes children but there are rumors floating around out there – which I’m sure are just rumors – that his marriage is one of convenience so to speak because he’s on the DL. But if JB wants to live by the political sword and spread lies and fearmonger about his political opponent, he has to expect that it will come back to haunt him someday too.
Of course he did. JB the Hutt has never managed a lemonade stand, so imprudent management of taxpayer dollars is simply to be expected. More agencies, more AFSCME members, more State paychecks, more state pensions. Plus, the Hutt’s henchmen will have to place their family and pals on the governing committee (paid, of course) for the Hutt’s latest absolute necessity.
Meh. Illinois is flushed with cash, right? The Chumbolones won’t even utter a syllable to complain.
This is what mental disordered liberals do. Thety keep nudging and nudging because they want to be in control because they know what is best for the rest of us. Next step is to catch the kid as the mom pops it out and control what the baby is fed, the diapers the baby should be using, the “designation” of sex at birth, etc.
After that they will probably overtake the procreation and force males to get mechanically jerked off so they can store it and then they decide when to impregnate the birthing vessel.
They should not need any additional funding. Just move the 60 % of the funding of the three departments it is replacing and close them for a 30% savings. Any smart manager would do that.
Wow, I passed thru early childhood without a government department to guide me. Just my mum and nursery school.
You had a parent that cared and a school that was competent. The government is looking to become both for those that have neither.
Were there nursery schools back then? You must be younger than you claim.
Yes, but I talking the early 60’s in Detroit.
