Chicago homeowners should study escalating tax bills – Loop North News

"For a wake-up call, analysts say you should especially eyeball the skyrocketing tax allocation for the Chicago Board of Education – politically supported heavily by Mayor Brandon Johnson. That part of your tax bill jumped up to 8 percent between 2022 and 2023. That’s the biggest bite coming out of your wallet."

Yes, study that tax bill especially the schools portion. When you are done crying then pay it and call your realtor and put it on the market. Tennessee is nice this time of year.

I used to like Tennessee until my daughter moved there after college. Suddenly she’s “out and proud” and has turned her back on the church. Sin is everywhere now I guess.

Yup, those young people in their 40’s (lol) just going along with sodomy just to get along. It’s really sorry that people can age and yet gain zero wisdom.

You may not have meant it but that’s exactly what you implied. James G complained about his daughter being “out and proud” and you replied that sometimes “you are young and go along to get along”. Your comment implied that his daughter played for the other team because she was just influenced by her friends. If that’s what you meant then you are next level ignorant. If it’s not what you meant then try writing a coherent thought to explain your point. My guess is you lack the ability but I’m willing to listen to your point of view rather… Read more »

Chances are that his lesbian daughter was molested as a child. Lesbians report extraordinarily high rates of abuse as children, more than any other demographic. Some studies, which are difficult to find on the internet now, show that even with small sample sizes, well over half were molested as children, at rates exponentially higher than heterosexual women. My guess is that the higher the sample size, the higher the rate of lesbianism they’ll find. I know correlation isn’t causation but there’s something more than chance going on there. Its very sad, and people like Kim Foxx dropped charges against R… Read more »

Do you actually believe that the red state of Tennessee made your daughter “out and proud”? That’s hysterical. Thanks for the entertaining comment.

You ever been to TN? It’s not as red as you think. Not quite commie IL, but its population centers definitely skew left.

I don’t care if it’s the deepest blue state in the union. I don’t believe a state’s politics turns people. Do you actually believe that?

DUDE he never said the state’s politics made her ghey. He said that doesn’t like Tennessee because that’s the place where she came out and engaged in sinful behavior. You need to stop acting like a Democrat and twisting words.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Audio here.
