Despite there being bipartisan support for the Invest in Kids program, including all 40 Illinois Republicans in the House, Illinois House Speaker Emanuel “Chris” Welch said there weren’t 60 Democrats on board to bring a renewal forward. “The advocates have just not been able to convince 60 Democrats to support continuation of that program and that’s consistent with what Democrats across America feel."
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
CTU will not tolerate any encroachment on their monopoly. Its not about the kids as the test scores prove, its about money, activism and power.
Dems afraid to do what’s right and go against CTU. They need CTUs campaign contributions.. Dems don’t care about the students and quality education
