At the Dirksen Courthouse and Kluczinski federal building, the problem has been known for a year and yet there have been no solutions, angering court officials. Signs around Dirksen drinking fountains say “certain fixtures in this facility have tested outside of the corresponding threshold for copper, lead and Legionella.”
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
