Pritzker calls bill to make felons of non-citizens registering to vote a ‘stunt’ – Center Square

State Rep. Adam Niemerg, who is a chief co-sponsor of the measure, acknowledged the measure likely won’t advance anytime soon. “We all see where this is going,” he said. “We see the [Immigration and Customs Enforcement] facilities being closed throughout the state of Illinois. We know that this is a massive Democrat voter registration drive and if we do not get ahead of this, they will be allowed to vote. Illegal immigrants will be allowed to vote.”

The bigger stunt was allowing the flood of millions of illegal immigrants into this country at the taxpayers’ expense.

I don’t understand, since Pritzker says this never happens … we have no signs that there are people that are voting or have been over the last bunch of elections in Illinois who are non-citizens”, why is he so against a bill that makes it a felony for an act that never occurs? You would think this would be a bill Pritzker would support to show republicans he is right, non-citizens never break the law, unless you are hiding something.

JB also signed legislation that allows non citizens to get a driver’s license that is indistinguishable from a non-real ID driver’s license issued to a YS citizen. With that type of driver’s license and a gas or water bill you can register to vote, and once you are registered there are no real safeguards.

Even after being tossed to the curb by the Democrats during the Presidential candidate selection process Pritzker still follows the radical path causing even more damage to the State of Illinois. How I wish Pritzker would realize that he has been beat, fade into the background and quit his efforts to further his designed destruction of the State he bought into. JB the race is over; you failed lost; now please just leave us alone and go home to wherever that may be. Illinois just can’t handle anymore ruination.

Pritzker states it’s already illegal to vote if you are not a citizen which I assume is true. What does this bill do, make it a crime for a person to knowingly register or allow an illegal to vote? So he wants to keep all the people who help these illegals from getting charged with a crime.

If it’s a stunt then just push for it also include mandatory ICE removal.

Comrade JB sure is handy with the buzzwords and name calling.

Dems already not asking citizenship status when registering voters, as reported by Chicago news media. They say because it’s illegal to ask a person this question. JB doesn’t want a fair election. That’s also why Secretary of State won’t notify election board to remove old addresses when people change their licenses. Dem corruption at its finest.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
