GOP lawmakers seek transparency on migrants with convictions living in Illinois – Center Square

State Sen. Chapin Rose said with everything Gov. JB Pritzker has done to make Illinois a “homing beacon” for noncitizens, including free health care options, Illinois must be getting its fair share of undocumented criminals and he wants the state to reveal the numbers. ICE reports that nearly 16,000 noncitizens convicted of sexual assault have been released, and over 56,000 who have been convicted of drug possession were released.

It’s mind boggling and disheartening that this country allowed massive, uncontrolled immigration to include violent criminals, drug dealers, and those with serious, contagious diseases.

Seems to be a lot of illegal alien supporters on this article. They give TD’s but do not have the courage of a rebuttal.

Now we know why sanctuary cities/ states refuse to cooperate with ICE. They are showing them exactly what kind of people have slithered across the border and the progressives don’t want that.

The original purpose of sanctuary cities, as our former Mayor Washington enacted, was to allay the fears that illegal immigrants would face deportation if they came forward to help solve a crime. The city promised to shield illegal immigrants from deportation if they cooperated with police to solve crimes. This has been perverted with today’s sanctuary cities, which shield illegal immigrants from the consequences of their crimes. Yea, and that was always a ruse used by big city DEMS as an excuse for no deportation.
