Everyone who shuts down traffic to demonstrate should be arrested and convicted. Protesters do not have the right to abuse the rights of others. This also disrupts emergency vehicles. If you want to demonstrate and protest, do not take away the rights of others.
First off the political leadership in Chicago, Cook County and Illinois have demonized police making traffic stops because those stops seem to impact minority drivers more than Whites. So let’s make a law reducing speed limits so more people can be stopped for speeding as a 25 mph limit is really a low number and many drivers will exceed the limit. Create another reason to complain about minorities being stopped to continue the lie of selective enforcement and continue to scream about those “raysssisss” POlice.
