Bring Back Big Business Head Tax To Address Migrant, Homelessness Crises, Advocates Say – Block Club Chicago

Members of the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights, including the Brighton Park Neighborhood Council, HANA Center and Jewish Council on Urban Affairs, gathered Thursday outside City Hall to sound the alarm on the One System initiative, the city’s plan to merge the two shelter systems for addressing homelessness and the new arrivals of migrants. Leaders of the group say the plan will result in at least 4,000 people sleeping on Chicago’s streets.

I have a counter proposal. Declare an end to sanctuary status for Chicago and Illinois, and send illegals back to where they came from, and pronto. Problem solved and no additional taxes needed.

Yep. I think we can now say Chicago and Illinois drastically underestimated the adverse financial impact of taking on so many illegal immigrants. Once again, Chicago and Illinois are known for their drastic under- or overestimates, whichever furthers their cause.

Well too darn bad. Maybe our gas bag Governor and Mayor should not have hyped the sanctuary city myth and given these folks the impression that everything in life was going to be handed to them for free. Now they are getting a quick lesson in how the Democrats lie even to their own people.
