Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. For him to flinch he would need a front end loader
These two could give Beavis and Butthead a run for their money in the moron department.
most of us illinoisans would kick pritzker and johnson to the curb if we ever got a fair vote. pritzker, the demonic king of full term abortion and child mutilation will get his just rewards.
You just had a fair vote 3 days ago. You lost. That doesn’t make them cheaters it makes you and Illinois Republicans losers. You’re a LOSER kathy. Time to grow up.
LOL, the state shifts 9 fricken points to the right. 9 points! Not a single seat changes anywhere in the state. Not one seat flips despite the largest move towards Republicans in 40 years.
Douggie here says “You just had a fair vote 3 days ago.”
Did we have a fair election Douggie? Did we really? if you think so, your idea of fairness is freaking warped.
So what? They lost by less votes. It’s still a loss.
Seats didn’t flip because of gerrymandering. Both sides are well aware that this is allowed and it’s completely fair by the rules that both agree to. If the Republicans were in power they would do the exact same thing. We know this because they do it in other states. Even without carved up districts, more than 50% of the votes went to Democrats and they would control the General Assembly either way.
Stop melting snowflake and keep working to earn more votes.
So now you play the whataboutism game. Illinois is a sinking island of blue surrounded by a sea of prosperous red. It’s goofs like you that are too low IQ to see which way the winds are blowing!
Yes it is. Time to enjoy what you voted for. Enjoy it. I know your neighboring states will.
The Romulus and Remus of IL Marxism are talking tough but will be on bended knee soon begging for desperately needed federal assistance.
Pritzker, BJ and a lot of these other loud mouths, like the View panel and Rachel Maddow, act as if Trump is coming for them to put them in detention camps. The best thing Trump can do, especially to Pritzker and the state of IL, is ignore them. They will need Trump more than he needs them. Especially “Pritzker for President in 2028”. Same goes for Newsome in CA. Putting on the tough guy act about bucking Trump will just make him laugh.
Pritzker who has recently been stumping for Harris is now posturing for the 2028s the way I see it. The Democrat field for a candidate is wide open at this point and Pritzker is sure to be a front runner when coupled with his immense wealth and ability to ramble on preaching what the radical left of the Democrat party wants to hear. Illinois residents need to be ready for even more of the assorted high cost economically unfeasible projects designed to provide the headlines that will tickle the fancy of the far left side of the Democrat party. Bad… Read more »
Good luck with the rainy day fund.
By all means, don’t flinch. Stay the course. Don’t ask that filthy Donald Trump for anything. Illinois can handle the mess the democrats created all by itself. I’m sure the higher taxes won’t be that painful.LOL
As expected, Illinois man-child twins, JB the Hutt and Panic Attacks Johnson decided to continue the inflammatory attacks rejected by sensible counties across America. JB the Hutt used the same tired language employed by Biden/Harris surrogates and other leftists for years. Fortunately, sensible taxpayers in counties all across the nation rejected this weak tripe. Thanks to Fox32 and other worthless Chicago media organizations, only those withing broadcast distance seemed to be affected by their propaganda. The Hutt reaffirmed his big fat commitment to killing as many unborn children that he can, with those lucky enough to draw their first breath… Read more »
