Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Mr Pritzker, please enlighten us all with a list of the Trump policies that you defended against.
Asking for a friend, a truly dubious friend.
JumBo talks in circles, spewing the party lines and obfuscating issues of importance (if he deigns to acknowledge the issues).
This is all setting the stage for his imagined “waddle” to the POTUS spot!
JB still smarting over the snub after the Dem coup and the fact that Trump got more votes than he ever did in IL.
You got that right imho but I don’t think it will be a waddle. Pritzker has immense wealth and has shown not to have any problem spending. This leaves more in the DNC kitty for everyone else to spend and is a backdoor way of contributing to every Democrat in the elections. While he was 17 and in boarding school, his mom jumped out of a moving tow truck in California and killed herself. JB was an orphan at 17. I feel bad for the guy on some level, because no one deserves such a messed up childhood. It’s proof that money can often be a curse than a blessing. The man clearly has a really messed up relationship with food, he’s got barely any… Read more »
