A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
It’s time to upgrade these schools to the same level as New Trier. It’s not ok to send your kids to top notch schools while inner city schools are falling apart. Cut spending from the trumper counties that don’t want to be a part of Illinois and direct it to Chicago. Trump proof this state Pritzker.
Did you see the new school being built in Venice Illinois? Hardly Trump country and then there is neighboring East St Louis that is quite a sponge when it comes to State education money. While we are at it Cahokia Heights another rock solid Democrat voting area is getting a new school. Meanwhile other close by school district have tax referendums for new schools. Why go on because its Trumps fault isn’t it?
Although upgrades are surely needed, to an extent, it seems that the CTU feels nothing is too good for buildings that house underperforming, truant staff and likewise students. Let’s not forget to upgrade the +20 underutilized schools as well.
