That, in turn, makes the demands of government unions inherently political. As the U.S. Supreme Court has said, 'decision making by a public employer is above all a political process.'"
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
