Costly Illinois lame duck session ‘irresponsible’ for taxpayers, legislator says – Center Square

The total number of bills filed over the past two years was nearly 10,000. Legislators approved about 500. “We’re not talking about helping people put food on their kids' tables. We’re not talking about economic instability of this state. We’re not talking about the debt crisis that’s looming. You’re not talking about crime,” state Sen. Chapin Rose said.

The issues mentioned by Chapin simply can’t be bothered with. IL is far too busy with DEI, trans rights, jimmying voting districts to benefit Democrats and selling dope and gambling to everyone as wholesome entertainment to worry about other trivial things.

The state needs to revise the districts in Il to represent all Il citizens, not just Democrats. Our congressional districts are political gerrymandering at its worst. I have no representation at the state or federal levels.
