Chicago ‘Should Explore’ Congestion Tax To Reduce Traffic, Mayor Says – Block Club Chicago

“I think being able to have robust conversations about how we respond to congestion, and of course, how we generate revenue, particularly from individuals that take full advantage of our city resources, but don’t necessarily live here … I’m all for that conversation,” Mayor Brandon Johnson said.

Once Pusher Johnson caught wind of the congestion tax in NYC, it was only a matter of time before he came running to try and find one also. It’s not enough that people already subsidize open spaces through their tax dollars and have to pay to enjoy them, let’s change them to get there ( or to work, shop, etc.) as well. Like Biden, Pusher really wants to burn the whole thing down because he knows another whack at doing so probably isn’t going to happen for him.

Brandon Johnson is remarkably creative at finding new reasons for people and businesses to leave or avoid the city. Can’t have Shotspotter to assist with crime but can have red light and speed cash registers, er, cameras, to generate funds for CTU and illegal migrants.

There are almost limitless ways to gouge the taxpayer. When your main shtick is mismanagement, you can think of new or additional taxes and fees at the blink of an eye.

Chicago’s ongoing depopulation will help reduce road traffic but, sure, discourage visitors further.
