“Any attempt to hold hostage the people of Chicago for anyone’s political gain, we’re certainly not going to acquiesce to those levels of constraints,” Johnson said. “Here’s what we’re committed to, is making sure that the Chicago Transit Authority is fully funded so that we can have affordable, reliable and safe transportation.”

Brando seems to relish the opportunity to publicly tussle with JB, who will remind anyone who will listen that he is a Happy Warrior. Let these two idiots beat up on each other for awhile. Notice that Brando, ever the moron, mentioned the millionaire tax and progressive tax in the same sentence. That quote should be memorialized by the anti-tax increase watchdogs in ads once Pritzker starts promoting the millionaire tax in ernest. The millionaire and progressive tax are linked forevermore, and no Illinois resident should forget it.
