Illinois officials bemoan another Trump administration. ‘He does not care about ordinary Americans’ – Chicago Sun-Times

Gov. JB Pritzker called it “a challenging day for Americans” and slammed Trump for arranging prime seats in Capitol rotunda for tech billionaires Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos and Mark Zuckerberg. “He does not care about ordinary Americans. You haven’t seen any issuance of any executive orders that would lower prices, or deal with what people have to fight every day. ... Here in Illinois, we’re going to stand up, we’re going to fight back, we’re going to follow the law, and we’re going to make sure they’re following the law."

Mitchell Armentrout and Fran Spielman, stenographers for the Illinois Democrat Party, dutifully regurgitated the utterances from their imperious leader, JB the Hutt. Critical skills and intelligence have become completely optional among Chicago media types and Mitch and Frannie are certainly no exception in lacking them. Their pull-quote: Gov. JB (the Hutt) called it “a challenging day for Americans”. Not really, Mitch and Frannie, it was a difficult day for big-spending leftist extremists like JB the Hutt. It was a great day for the USA’s citizen-taxpayers who have footed the bill for the Hutt’s, and other leftists’ out of control spending… Read more »

Let’s see. So JB is the guy who cares about the little people. He’s the one who allows criminal illegal aliens to run wild in poorer neighborhoods; charges the little people more for their gasoline and property taxes than just about anywhere else in the country; locked public school students out of their classrooms for no good reason longer than anyone else in the country, with just a couple of exceptions; presides over one of the lousiest public school systems in the US where kids can’t read or do basic math– not just in Chicago but statewide; takes no stand… Read more »

What does that low-life POS toilets know about the average person? The fact that you sub-human filth elected both Toilets and Mr. Panic is a testament to your pond scum status. Humans would not allow what is going on in Illinois to continue without a revolt. But after all you are not humans.

PDJT’s job is to primarily take care of the free and properous Red States. IL is stuck at the end of the line thanks to Pritzker and Leftist Democrats. Hear this IL ‘No more Red State bailouts for you!’

Oh please, Jay! Look at the elites and Hollyweird types your candidate by coup Democratic presidential nominee surrounded herself with in her feeble attempt to convince people she was worthy of the office. Look at the moneyed IL residents that keep people such as you, Madigan, etc. In the driver’s seat. Get a grip.

Slobster confuses his political acumen with his $100,000,000 ballot harvesting operation. He honestly believes he has good political instinct when in reality he was handing out $$$ to fraudsters to find straight ticket midterm ballots. He’s always been several news cycles behind on the talking points, saying what he thinks people to hear, but he’s several weeks too late. The ‘fighting back’ talk is tired, old, boring. No politician with aspirations for a higher office still talks like that. This isn’t 2016 anymore, fatty. Smart politicians are talking about working with the extremely popular Trump administration to further achieve goals… Read more »

Pritzker what you are going to do is learn to beg for funding and that is something you have never had to do in your privileged life before. Enjoy!

JB, while you and Brandon tax and regulate your benighted subjects and their firms into leaving for other states, those Tech executives are busy creating value for their customers, employees and pension and 401(k) holders.

And JB has not seen a tax he cannot raise. How have you helped the average citizen in Illinois by raising taxes across the board regardless of one’s ability to pay? Here is a list that cost us over $5B and counting.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
