Former Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. releases statement after not receiving pardon – FOX32 (Chicago)

"If President Trump wields his pardon pen for the debt-paid felon, as it is expected he will for January 6th insurrectionists, I believe he will make inroads into the base of the Democratic Party on a scale that we have not seen," Jackson said.

Slick Talker, Jr. ignores the fact that none of the Jan. 6th crowd were convicted, along with their spouses, of embezzling thousands of dollars. It is also said that Slick Talker, Jr. receives a yearly disability payment of 148K for ADHD.

If Congress is paying Jesse about 100 G in disability payments are they saying his time in Congress caused ADHD? Seems to me if it was a pre-existing condition it should not be covered.

“The fight for the American felon, of which I am one, must continue,” Jackson said in his statement.” – the fight for the American felon??? Fight whom for what? Avoid becoming a felon seems a better effort.

“If President Trump wields his pardon pen for the debt-paid felon, as it is expected he will for January 6th insurrectionists…”

They were not insurrectionists: they were patriots who were entrapped by a government setup. Jackson was convicted for old fashioned crookedness.

Notice how there just happened to be photographers and videographers at every key vantage point before anyone came through the doors. Only thing missing was a director in a chair yelling “Action!”

Apparently you might also think that news people purposely plan and execute for hurricanes and the more recent L. A. fires as two similar national news events. In short, just because a group of people are wary enough to be present in any given worrisome situation doesn’t necessarily mean they planned it.

If they were wary they wouldn’t be present in a worrisome situation, would they?

JJJ’s starting a gig as morning guy on WVON. His current show on AM1580 is actually pretty good for super lib/ left stuff….(and for old seniors, like me, who have no life to listen to politics 24/7). ( https://www.axios.com/local/chicago/2025/01/17/media-jesse-jackson-jr-wvon-convicted-pardon)

The Jackson family just doesn’t have political power anymore. Just go away and deal with it.

Did Jesse Jackson Jr just say the base of the Democratic Party consists of felons? Sure sounded like it.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
