It’s human nature to believe incompetence must be the reason for failure; it can’t be that my ideas are really bad. Thus we get voters rejecting Lori Lightfoot as incompetent and electing Brandon Johnson, who promised to go even harder at implementing far leftist ideas. Brandon and the CTU say the problem is that they aren’t getting all the money they demand. Teachers tell us it’s not that they are incompetent, we just don’t understand how hard it is.
