Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. The state’s existing buyout program for its own pensions is the precedent for Chicago, which should be a warning: Look out for similar exaggerated claims and shoddy analysis.

It is embarrassing to have The DICK, The DUCK and this ridiculous person representing the state of IL. I wondered who that old lady was standing there with Waters…looked it up and of course…an Illinois representative. 80 years old. Time to retire – like 10 years ago. She has no message – just going with the crowd…and wandering around.
Irony, her being denied access to that building when she denied access to private education to the students helped by the Invest In Kids program she opposed, leading to the closure of multiple Catholic (and other?) private grammar schools, forcing those kids into bad CPS or suburban public schools.
All is see is a bunch of loudmouths that sit around waiting for something to kvetch about if it concerns Trump in any way whatsoever. They should join their buddies gathered around the cauldron on the View.
I found this by recognizing Rep Schakowsky there from her coat. Same one she wore nine years ago when I watched her setting a precedent for provoking political violence. I wrote about it here:

Schakowsky is 80 and Waters is 87. Term and age limits. Most of Congress belong in nursing homes. I read that Pelosi (83) has decided to run again for her 21st term. That’s right 21st TERM but now someone is running against her.

I was just about to say this is the geriatric #resistance. I saw Chuck Schumer out there wildly gesticulating like an angry old man and all I could think was: Won, we really won big. This is all they got.
The funny part about Schumer yelling and gesticulating is that you can easily dub in “Damn you kids!! In my day we respected Senators!!! Get the hell off of my lawn!!! And I’m keeping your ball too!!!”
Schumer looked like your typical union leader, waving his arms and raving like an idiot.
