A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
Pritzker is a selfish, maniacal POS. He antagonizes the President of the United States in an effort to elevate his own image. His job is to govern this state for the benefit of the people of Illinois. Instead he acts like a petulant child. He is unfit for any public office.
I don’t think Trump thinks about him very much at all other than the occasional tweet. Along these same lines, on Monday, Elon Musk told JB to consider Ozempic, the 2nd tweet making fun of his obesity in two weeks. JB’s newly found #Resistance street cred is mainly directed towards an audience of members of the church already singing in the choir. The Gutfeld Show now uses JB as their designated fat guy to be the butt of all their jokes. Pritzker has replaced Jerry Nadler and Chris Christie, and it’s pretty funny. This will be very effective as skinned trust finders like JB cannot withstand being mocked.
I was thinking about this and I had a thought pop in my head after listening to Sean Thompson this afternoon playing clips of Blago talking about the senate seat. I think JB is toying with the idea of pulling a Barack Obama and running for a 2 year senate term in 2026 to replace Durbin (if he drops out) and then running for national office in 2028. That might be a plan because by being Senator he would be able to insulate himself from the assorted harms he has caused Illinois. Additionally and importantly he needs a tax hike to keep the party going or he would have to cut spending and I am not sure either of those would help him get elected nationally. Running for Senator would certainly provide him an escape from those Illinois realities meaning you might just have discovered Pritzker’s inner plans if he can persuade Durban to drop out. This is a double edged sword for JB as he will then face serious national scrutiny at the absolute worst time, as the Trump steamroller is flattening the left and exposing its corruption. I do not think that he can withstand the national press like he does with the Illinois pipsqueak media. I also don’t think there’s going to be much of a national Dem party remaining by 2026.
