After 3 Fires And Pit Bull Attack Near Tent Encampment, Kids Sports May Be Pulled From Gompers Park – Block Club Chicago

Ald. Samantha Nugent said she was originally told the city would be conducting an Accelerated Moving Event, or AME, at the Far Northwest Side park the week of Feb. 24. Now, she’s being told by Mayor Brandon Johnson’s office that the move will be delayed due to President Donald Trump’s attempts to freeze federal funding. A federal judge ordered the Trump administration to unfreeze federal spending Jan. 31.

Now the City of Chicago, can not even deal with their own parks and law and order. Pin Head thinks somehow , this is a federal problem…the rest of the country should pay for problems-in the parks-of Chicago IL. What a wingnut. He’s just too stupid to be mayor.

Oh no, allowing this filth and disorder is part of the leftist “plan”, ostensibly for “equity” but in reality to destroy society. “Progressives” *never* seek to “build”, they only seek to *destroy* – this is *the* basic tenet of marxism, as debtor and others here have said…

So, of course, blame it on Trump, since the cuts are only threatened. This is a city affair, the city should provide the funding, this is not a federal issue. Johnson is always looking for the state or feds to bail him out. Thought he has all the answers.

“Johnson said he hopes the Gompers Park encampment residents find “housing that works for them.” Memo to the CLUELESS: these bums *want* to live this way… these are the *worst* of the incorrigibles, e.g. junkies, ex – Class X felons, psychos, sex offenders. Even if they were “housed”, they’d destroy that housing and quickly return to the streets…

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Audio here.
