Ted joined Jeff Daly to talk about the conviction of former House Speaker Mike Madigan on charges of bribery and wire fraud, the legalized corruption that defines Illinois, how the state’s political machine is perpetuated, the need for an Illinois DOGE, the coming loss of the Chicago equities exchange to Texas, and more.

Expect no retraction or apology. This what they do.
The state’s existing buyout program for its own pensions is the precedent for Chicago, which should be a warning: Look out for similar exaggerated claims and shoddy analysis.
There’s a long line waiting to take Madigans place so they can fill their own bank account
Madigan’s legacy – He screwed over IL citizens to enrich himself and his cronies.
His Cronies were the Public Sector “Workers” and they sure did screw the taxpayers.
And Chris Welch isn’t any better! Anybody watching him? Does have a cell phone? Email? Transparency?
You can take back your Smart Meters now. No one wanted them in the first place.
My wife hates that I pay extra not to have one.
According to our Comed meter reader, about 50 people in my city of 40,000 have opted out. You’re not alone.
If the meter fails better hope it blows off the side of the house and breaks the circuit. Otherwise without a circuit breaker it will keep burning and burning until the utility can come out to shut it off.
Not sure how true this info is but there may be health risks with smart meters. Who knows what all these electronic devices do to us since this is reasonably new tech.

The U.S. government has known about the negative health effects of wireless radiation since at least the 1960’s. Regulatory agencies and the courts have done a good job playing hot potato with the subject to avoid any accountability. Many of us have been waiting a long time for someone like Bobby Kennedy to come along and force some type of change in the industry. And here we are. Link to 32 page pdf below.

Thanks. Next on the horizon probably soon will be 6G and of course no downside problems are in the article only positives.
https://www.techtarget.com/searchnetworking/definition/6G
It’s all marketing, they will try to merge AI or something else with 5G, and call it 6G. “Verizon redefined 5G Ultra wideband . . . now it doesn’t [just] mean millimeter wave, it now means both the C-Band and millimeter wave spectrum . . . sometime in January [2022] Verizon changed the definition.” “This new iPhone is proof that all of this fake out was just a lie . . . to raise prices.” “There is no need — at all — for any additional cell towers to be placed, constructed or operated in residential zones for the vast… Read more »
Com Ed can shut these meters off remotely from there main office from what I’ve been told .
The electronic meters are designed with a remote shut off, but can fail when subjected to a power surge or lightning strike. The older analog meters had nothing to burn.

Thanks Frank for the update
Ironic part is how all the Democrats in DC are outraged about what DOGE is doing but not even one of them is outraged about what they have found. And when they find 50 million for condoms in Gaza, how much reached Gaza and how much got skimmed off the top? 45 million? IL needs to track who the money goes to, then what it is spent on. No more block grants.
The problem remains that the public unions of Illinois are also horribly corrupt and need to be broken by the Feds. Math will break them if nothing else.
It would be much more effective if they prosecuted someone that was blatantly breaking the law well before they turn 80.
Especially since we all know what they all have been doing for many many years.
Mike Madigan is a piece of trash and people such as Greg Hinz and Rich Miller are idiots for defending him for years.
Nice interview and great information. Agree 1000%. What Madigan did while conducting his criminal business is still there, every thing this criminal did needs to be reviewed and undone based on the proven criminality of his behavior. He made these corrupt deals and then made them law, but they are laws made by a convicted criminal enterprise. The legislature needs to grow a pair and use this opportunity to correct likely hundreds of laws that are unfair to the Illinois citizen/tax payer.
Anyone remember this outburst from Mike Bost about legislators who keep voting for Madigan for speaker.

You’re correct. Bost was courageous at the time. But he is a down stater so few people paid attention at the time. And back then you criticized the Speaker at much peril to yourself.
