Pritzker says Trump may be popular nationwide, but not in Illinois – Center Square

“You can look at one poll and say ‘oh gee, he’s popular in some places in the country.’ Frankly I look at what’s happening to working class families as a result of his policies and I’m speaking out against that,” Gov. JB Pritzker said. “And, importantly, I’ve expressed what I think is the danger that our residents in our state face as a result of policies that he’s putting in place."

Round Boy must think that only Crook county and Chicago are Illinois

Round boy Pritzker is mistaken. Trump got far higher election numbers in Illinois than anyone thought possible. As usual , Round boy is not correctly reading the room , but simply projecting his own disdain.

He’s very popular in my house pritzker and I’m in Illinois. He is also popular in many places Ive seen. So don’t speak for everyone.

JB’s echo chamber delusion is deep and nearly complete. Right now JB’s delusion has him convinced that he is the front runner for the 2028 Presidency. Meanwhile, he is screwing over the taxpayers of Illinois towards that goal of fashioning himself as the most ‘Progressive’ politician in the US. Plus Jabba is convinced that he can purchase the national media for his propaganda purposes. After all Karmela spend $1B in three month’s and in JB’s mind, she nearly won. JB has even more of his daddy’s money so he thinks that election is a cinch.

Isn’t Illinois Fun?

Pritzker is a disaster for Illinois, his explosive spending, creation of permanent costs but using temporary money is accelerating the pace of financial deterioration that democratic control in Springfield for decades creates. He decries tariffs as a tax on residents, what they are his taxes if not state tariffs?

Oh hell of a lot more popular than JB. Trump is continuing to surge in the polls undoing JBs unpopular policy’s and financial disasters.

Considering that Trump tends to underpoll by 4-6 points, he’s likely over the 50% mark in Illinois. They’re just sore losers, they complain that Trump only cares about himself, or they think Elon is looting the government, while ignoring that it’s actually Democrats that have been looting…

The liberal abortion laws in Illinois is something the state democrats are very proud of. After all, it’s for the children.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
