Chicagoans can not possibly be interested in this guys for mayor again. His track record on all the main issues, as shown by Wirepoints, is atrocious. He boogeyed out of town to hide form the fiscal mess he had largely created. He is one of the biggest jerks and most arrogant self absorbed characters ever to walk through City Hall. Lord, Help us.

If Rahm hadn’t silenced Laquan’s family with $5 million, he wouldn’t have won reelection. The liberal media gave him a pass on that one. Chicago doesn’t need a return to the original petulant man child mayor. Why do these guys think they have a birth right to public office? Get lost already.

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
