The photograph nicely shows the vast amount of Chicago lakefront parkland stolen by Obama and his Democrat criminal co-conspirators. Obama and his lackeys could easily have purchased nearby empty lots adjacent to the park but…….in true Chicago Democrat fashion chose thievery instead. Disgusting.

Maybe it’s a missile silo or mausoleum or giant trash compactor.

For years now, critics have been saying Obama’s team should have renovated an abandoned building or an already existing structure and also that they should have chosen a different location.
If it ever gets finished, it will be a monument to how Democrats waste money.
Nobody on the Obama team seems to have any sense of architectural design or beauty. That gray blob has been compared to a concentration camp guardtower. Or maybe a giant outhouse.
They are ruining Olmsted’s vision.

Is that ugly or what. Who designed this? Some Politburo architects from 1961 brought over from East Germany? Who will want to live within eyesight of this blob?

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
