Like people won’t be able to go to neighboring states for purchasing a non-electric vehicle. IDIOTS.

You won’t be able to register or insure the ICE vehicle in Illinois. So go ahead and buy the vehicle, but without registration or insurance, it cannot be driven…

Giant EV battery manufacturer declares bankruptcy. NorthVolt a Swedish EV battery company bites the dust shattering a European try at becoming a major EV battery supplier. Illinois politicians will figure out a way to waste lots and lots of tax dollars

The State can ill afford to lose more businesses. They should be bending over backwards to keep them. Private sector businesses are who pays the bills for everyone.

Sounds like a concerted effort to ensure the EV manufacturers that Illinois has been throwing cash at for years have plenty of new customers. It won’t work.

Also where is the money going to from all the gas tax/plate fees going to? How much is in there now and how is it spent? Another giant political slush fund to do whatever they want if needed. Worse than TIF’s.

An EV mandate, courtesy of Illinois Climate Clerics.

An idea so good it’s mandatory.

All part of the Pritzker for President 2028 Campaign to solidify JB as the most progressive leftist candidate in the Universe. Just a step to the right of Vladimir Lenin, Fidel Castro and Kim jung Il.

Yep, Just go ahead and drive the stake into the heart of the people that think this state can eventually turn around. Illinois can’t put in the infrastructure needed because they can’t find enough DEI firms to do the work, and the market wouldn’t even support the Lions electric bus company that ripped the state off. Stupid is as stupid does.

Is there a more anti-business state in the country? It seems the only businesses interested to move here would receive huge, continuing subsidies from the taxpayers.
