Cook County Public Defender poised to win OK to represent illegal immigrants in deportation cases beyond Chicago – Cook County Record

Last week, the Illinois state House of Representatives' Immigration and Human Rights Committee voted along party lines to advance new legislation that would explicitly authorize the Cook County Public Defender's Immigration Unit to represent immigrants with "ties to the county" facing deportation procedures in immigration courts both within Cook County and perhaps anywhere else in the U.S.

Following Kwame Dawgs lead, they need to seek out battles in other states because there isn’t enough to keep them busy in the state that pays them.

Who will pay for all the legal council? The taxpayers of course. More money taken away from citizens who did not vote for this in the first place.

Hmm…..public defenders paid with public tax dollars to represent illegal alien defendants that shouldn’t even be in the US let alone Cook County.

Am I missing something? Old Joe even paid a lawyer bill once. It gave me a new appreciation for my dentist.
