Missing from the hard hitting article is the fact that the known drug dealer that was in Auntie Yo Yo’s vehicle with her niece and chucked the heroin out of the car window was the same person that tipped the police to the disastrous “naked lady “ house raid resulting in the multi- million dollar settlement against the CPD. Another DEI hire/ promotion in a police department being eroded from within. Who needs defunding when you have these sorts of shenanigans going on?

If she were not politically connected she would have been fired 3 or 4 times by now. Almost the entire exempt staff of the CPD has never passed a promotional exam, some never even took an exam. Appointed or anointed because of their race or political connections. It is quite apparent on so many levels that the department is being led by a very unqualified bunch of hacks. If anyone is wondering why the CPD is becoming the laughing stock of police departments that’s the reason.

They, and CWB, are the only media outlets in CHI exposing what is really going on in the city. You surely won’t hear anything from the water carriers like Chuck Goudy et al.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
