Illinois Democrats Introduce Bill Banning Sale of Glock Handguns – Bearing Arms

HB 4045 and its companion bill in the Senate would allow anyone who knowingly manufactures, sells,  offers to sell, purchases, receives, manufactures, imports, or transfers a "convertible pistol" to be charged with unlawful possession of a weapon; a class 4 felony in the state punishable by a minimum of one year in prison and up to three years behind bars and a $25,000 fine.

Still waiting for a Dem/ lib judge to hand down an “ enhanced sentence “ for one of their constituents using a gun with a trigger switch or extended magazine. Just one.

I propose a bill that would prevent Democrats from holding public office in Illinois because most of the politicians arrested in Illinois are Democrats.

The favorite pass time of democrats is turning innocent law abiding firearm owners into criminals while not pursuing hard time criminal charges against the gang banging, drug dealing, drive by shooting crowd who the democrats will defend non stop. Low hanging fruit, like honest citizens, are easy targets Remeber, democrats hate you.

Another unconstitutional mess that Kwaumie will waste IL taxpayer money defending and ultimately will be slapped around by the Supreme Court. All part of the Prtizker for President 2028 Campaign.

Unfortunately the Supreme Court is dragging thier feet on many 2a cases and keep kicking them down to lower court, after the Bruen ruling, things should have changed but blue states keep ignoring the ruling- shall not be infringed is very straightforward
Supreme Court needs to step in and set the record straight across the country

Owners who buy before the ban would be grandfathered in as owners if it’s registered. Military, police and guards of nuclear facilities could still buy them as well. Glock fixed the issue with Gen 4 and 5. Gen 3 and older are the only ones with the issue and they’re no longer produced. Illinois law makers and voters are just retarded so you get this issue.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
