Electric bus company Damera to open first U.S. factory in Illinois – WTVO (Rockford)

Said Gov. JB Pritzker, "With this investment of more than $31.5 million–supported by state incentives–Damera will expand into our state and create 90 new full-time jobs." Lion Electric, which opened a plant in Joliet to build electric school buses, recently filed for bankruptcy.

How many times do you have to hit your hand with a hammer before you move it ? These fools keep swinging without moving it!

When is Pritzker going to recruit an American company? Only get CCP, and now Turkish companies, to come to Il.

Illinois voters read this as it unfolded. “Over the past six years, Illinois has pushed to solidify our status as a hub of the EV future – and put our shoulder to the wheel to get that vision off the ground and on the road said Pritzker.” The voters believed it and voted for Pritzker not once but twice. PT Barnum would have found great wealth in Illinois if his activities were directed at the voters

Good lord. Are Illinoisans really going to let this goofy Governor do this to us again.?

After the Lion electric debacle, I thought the headline was a joke. Nope. Illinois’ governor is.

How much of the subsidies will end up in DNC coffers? The world wonders.

Supporting a Turkish company that makes an e-vehicle called eJEST? Sounds like a giant middle finger to ordinary Illinois taxpayers.
