IL bill to keep veteran tiny home prices down passes the House unanimously – WEEK (Peoria)

The proposal would remove a requirement for tiny homes to have an inbuilt electric vehicle charging station if the owner is a veteran.

EV charging stations should not be a requirement for any “tiny” homes. Why just veterans? And why should it be a requirement for any new home construction?

This bill is being pushed by a small veteran-focused organization. Why are not other affordable housing groups endorsing it, and asking for expansion to non-vets?
