Changes coming to Illinois after Pritzker signs multiple bills – WCIA (Champaign)

The Governor’s office announced Monday that JB Pritzker signed a variety of bills, ranging from an expedited FOID card process, changes to the Illinois Medicaid program and the approval of the FY26 Budget.

Thank the heavens that “pregnant people” can now get choline supplements covered by insurance. Amazon lists those supplements for about $9. We sure needed a modification to the insurance code for a $9 supplement! Hope those pregnant people appreciate the help, especially the men!

Way to go, champ! Too bad your budget needs even more tax dollars wrung out of anemic taxpayers pockets, another bi- annual gas tax in a couple of weeks and a temporary hold on the biggest crying baby in the tax dependent nursery, the CTA ( twin sister of the CTU ) , who is saving up its energy to piss and moan in the fall session until it gets what it wants.
