U.S. Rep. Jesús ‘Chuy’ García: Donald Trump’s remittance tax is a cruel double-tax on immigrant’s dignity – Chicago Tribune*

"Immigrants already meet their financial obligations here. They should have the freedom to use their hard-earned money as they choose — whether it’s sending it to rebuild a bridge or buy medicine for their mothers."

Not really Chewey. It’s like garnishing SS cheques to pay for long-ago student loan defaults.

Shameful of Trump. Hurting the poorest people is despicable by anyone’s standard. I was always taught you never will have to be ashamed for helping a poor person no matter who they are. Did none of the poor immigrant haters have a good upbring? By the way I am an atheist so we will be spending eternity together.

JB the Hutt’s massive tax hikes to pay for illegal immigrants are a cruel double, even triple tax on Illinois taxpayers.

Fixed it for you, red Chuy.

Hey Chuey, let’s not forget the millions of untaxed revenue that flows across the border via wire services to be spent on much cheaper goods and services with nary a penny of taxes being paid to the money’s country of origin , because “ they have to “. Never got the memo that the US is responsible for the welfare of the entire Western world.
