Just remember after Big Boy gets swept into office again, that he’ll find time to make a laughable, failed run for president ( barring competition from the “ Tiny Dancer “ ) instead of doing his job.

I sure the F**K am not voting for him or any democrat. Straight Republican or qualified Independent. I know my votes probably won’t win anybody a seat but it’s giving the finger to the thieves in there now

Another election to have your voice heard Illinois voters. Just kidding. We know that voters can’t be expected to choose differently. Hopefully after JB wins the next election he will finally start behaving like all the commenters here want. I mean voters shouldn’t have to vote differently just to get a different candidate.

Yeah, we really are a bunch of dumb clucks for expecting our elected officials to behave and perform as promised while on the campaign trail. In a gerrymandered state where cases against them can only be brought in two Dem friendly counties, the dead vote early and often and ruinous legislation is passed at 2:59 am to beat a deadline, it really is our fault for not going to Springrad and having a “peaceful protest” that would make 1/6 look like a child’s tea party.

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
