Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. What a stupid premise. And all the poorest states and the least educated states are led by Republicans. How about putting policies in place that help ALL Americans, instead of always looking for scapegoats in your analysis. This is why citizens have low regards for both parties and in political opinion writers.
All the Democrats leaving Chicago need to leave their politics behind, they are now well into destroying DuPage county.
Liberals can be kind people, (?)good parents, neighbors, coworkers, but they’re ROTTEN citizens, that’s how we got here.
They can also be overbearing, loud, know it alls that are quick to tell you how to run your business while having their kids gender reassigned, supporting repeat felons/ pedophile walking freely amongst us and having you taxed to death for social services or their latest pet project while they sit in their gated communities with BLM signs on their manicured lawns.
