Chicago marks ‘best’ Independence Day weekend in a decade: 9 killed, 44 more shot – CWB Chicago

While the number may seem high, it marks the lowest Fourth of July weekend toll since at least 2015. Although 2018 saw one fewer victim, that year’s holiday weekend spanned nearly six days due to the Fourth falling on a Wednesday.

The numbers are. Nothing to be proud of. Maybe if criminals were actually arrested and charged appropriately crime might go down. Crime still high because Democrats protect criminals, not victims.
