So we’re on that course," Mary Richardson-Lowry, corporation counsel for the city of Chicago and leader of the city’s Law Department, said of police misconduct cases."We will continue to look for opportunities to settle. We try cases where we must. What it means for the taxpayer is they benefit in the end because in the long term we’re not spending as much of the city’s resources.”

Soo.. let’s not fight cash grab lawsuits ( the Dexter Reed debacle is a good example ) and just settle because it’s, in theory, cheaper? Spoken like a true Dem or an ambulance chasing lawyer.

Spending money to fight President Trump’s attempts to stop waste, fraud, abuse, the illegal alien problem thats costing billions or dollars are being met with lawsuits by places like Chicago. Did they ever think to try and go along or is the pure hatred of President Trump the only driving issue. I suspect hatred is the reason. Having the failed policies of democrats exposed is driving the dems to the brink of insanity.
