Cops stop for drinks, bump into slot machine burglar carrying cash box and a crowbar – CWB Chicago

The 36-year-old Palatine man is back behind bars after police say he walked out of a Little Village gas station with a crowbar in one hand and a slot machine cash box in the other—right into the arms of officers who had simply stopped by for a drink. And he did it while on pretrial release for allegedly doing the exact same thing.
