Flash mob raids Louis Vuitton on Mag Mile, steals $150,000 in handbags – CWB Chicago

Flash mob thefts once plagued Chicago’s Magnificent Mile, but after a lull in recent years, the brazen crime tactic returned Tuesday. Around 11:58 a.m., up to 12 masked males entered the luxury retailer at 919 North Michigan Avenue and quickly grabbed armfuls of high-end merchandise, mostly handbags and purses, according to a Chicago police report. The group fled the scene in at least three waiting vehicles.

  1. “Mug Mile” – there, I fixed the typo. You’re welcome.
  2. What kind of a s**t-ass city continually allows such unbridled crime?

Mayor Cliff Notes can wave goodbye to Louis Vuitton. The Mag Mile gets ever less mag.

I bet these are kids just out having fun. They should have been shot by LV security guards. Great way to bring in tourists to the city. A city run by morons

Excellent work mayor Pinhead. This is just what customers and tourists to the City want to see and be involved in…broad-daylight-robbery. Your plan is working perfectly.
