Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Clearly JB doesn’t understand basic mathematics. In a state that is already 45R/55D and trending higher R, their current 3R/14D congressional seats is about as far as they can go. Same with California, New York and New Jersey. At some point the Democrats AKA Communists run out of D voters. They can’t make every district 51%D/49%R especially since the Democrats AKA Communists are losing more black and hispanic voters every election. Good luck with that JB.
