Pritzker welcomes FBI looking for TX Dems in IL, dismisses bribery question – Center Square

Asked Thursday if the legislators accepting resources to avoid taking official action in Texas could cross the line into bribery, Gov. JB Pritzker dismissed the notion. “They're here because they're fighting for democracy. And I've said that over and over again; we all ought to be supporting people who are standing up for our country, for our constitutional republic.”

Who’s paying to ‘host’ these runaways ? Are the Texas legislators, the state of Illinois, Pritzker personally ?

If they are taking “resources” which are obviously financial in nature, will they pay federal income tax on these “resources?”
