Mayor Brandon Johnson has “grave concerns” about President Trump eyeing Chicago for federal crime crackdown – CBS2 (Chicago)

"The problem with the President's approach is that it is uncoordinated, uncalled for, and unsound," Johnson said. "Unlawfully deploying the National Guard to Chicago has the potential to inflame tensions between residents and law enforcement when we know that trust between police and residents is foundational to building safer communities. An unlawful deployment would be unsustainable and would threaten to undermine the historic progress we have made."

BJ’s “grave concerns” are for the scum vermin criminals and the criminal illegal aliens. BJ and his CTU thug puppet masters don’t give a rats a$$ about the taxpaying citizenry. Reparations!!!

Article 2 plus Amendment 2 plus Trump can even the odds (get it: odd and even?!). Dem’s are all march and mouth. Past time to quiet the streets and the alleys and the parks.

Illinois democrat rule has done nothing but bring communism, mayhem and Crime to our doorsteps.
I’ll stand on the side of President Trump, not two tin pot dictators.

Teaching kids to read and do math, as well as teaching them the skills needed to be community leaders, is the best foundation for a community. Maybe the U.S. Army can read them books, too in their spare time. Soldiers are much better role models than drag queens..

Another CWB shocker: What happens to a violent predator in Chicago who robs, sexually assaults, and attempts to murder women? Not much. The predator admitted to police he believed he killed the first woman (she lost consciousness after he cut off her air supply). This monster will be released in December of 2026 which is less than 3 years after his arrest.
If by some miracle an arrest is made, don’t expect justice to be served.

Of course Johnson is against this. Brandon is busy protecting criminals and juvenile delinquents. If the national guard comes, these people might get arrested and charged. He won’t be able to post bogus crime numbers. He’ll be exposed.

Panic Attacks doesn’t seem to be too concerned with crime, a busted budget, students graduating that can neither read nor write and businesses fleeing his utopia. But mention the “ T “ word, and he goes Def Con level Four. Clown.

lets face it, for deeply underwater CTU/Brandon fighting Donnie sending in the troops is actually all he’s got at this point…it’s a PR dream come true.
Oddly, a PR dream for both DJT & BJ.

Define the PROGRESS YOU HAVE MADE ?? The city is still short 2,000 police officers and is the murder capital of the U.S.

Let’s ask some of the families that have recently lost loved ones. Or the ones who have been mugged or unfortunately raped recently their opinions. And ask store owners downtown ( at least those left ) their thoughts

Maybe Mayor Johnson should start reading CWB Chicago Public Safety and Crime News. A fare evader punched a 70-yr-old CTA worker and he sustained a head injury. Mail is being stolen like never before. Businesses being robbed by organized crews, delivery drivers are being ambushed, children being shot, crazy mother stabbing her own children…and let’s not forget a special section called Brandon’s Bodies. Without traditional morality, the police become the only line of defense. And there’s not enough police officers to counteract the overwhelming lawlessness of Chicago. Lawlessness is too often normalized and ignored in Chicago. One thing is certain.… Read more »

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Audio here.
