Illinois secures $2B investment from Cronus Chemicals LLC – WAND (Decatur)

As part of the State's incentive package, Cronus Chemicals LLC received an EDGE tax credit and has committed to making a $2 billion investment and creating 130 new full-time jobs. Illinois is the nation’s largest consumer of ammonia.

So how much are we paying for these 130 jobs? Over the last year the state has been making it harder and harder to find out what ransom is being paid, and this is another great example. The number is not in the press release– probably for a good reason.
