I think most of us Illinois citizens don’t want our children or grandchildren in the same classroom or school with illegal immigrants. When we don’t have to pay the way for illegal immigrants, some of us might soften our stance. However, that time might not occur in my lifetime.

It’s time for the Feds to cut off all education funds for Illinois.

I never see him calling on Springfield citizens to open their arms and greet the illegals. Kind of curious. Now if Abbot had dumped them their old Putzger would be singing a different tune

The 40,000 sent by Abbott is a distraction. There are 550,000 illegals in IL.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
