Former Riverside Police Chief Criticizes Narratives Around ICE Operation in Chicago – WIND (Chicago)

Retired Riverside Police Chief Thomas Weitzel argued that the focus of Operation Midway Blitz is firmly on violent offenders who are in the country illegally. The chief dismissed as falsehoods the claims that families and schoolchildren are being indiscriminately targeted, saying that media coverage and statements from some politicians have fueled unnecessary fear.

I think we all know by now that the Dem water carrying local media is going to focus on the flower street vendor and other benign characters being taken in while ignoring the fact that all here illegally are breaking the law and many of them have charges of child molestation, spousal abuse, etc. against them. “ Kill your TV “ sang Iggy Pop (?) in the early’70’s. Man, was he ahead of the curve!

Fueling unnecessary fear is their whole point. In Chicago, and I’m sure elsewhere, they are purposely promoting fear in young children by talking about ICE raids as if they just grab anyone. These kids are being schooled in hatred and fear to become the next generation of angry, hateful adults.
